About the Living Church of God
The Church Jesus founded is not a building. It is a living body of people, with hearts united in a common purpose and calling. The collective members of the Living Church of God strive to fulfill the purpose for which Christ established it, almost 2,000 years ago.
“Your word is truth.” — John 17:17
The Living Church of God uses the Bible as its authority in all things. Our mission to the world, how we conduct our weekly services, our doctrines and teachings—in everything we do, as a church and as individuals—we seek to express the truth of God’s word and to be an example to the world.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 6:15
As the sponsor of the worldwide “Tomorrow’s World” television broadcast and the free Tomorrow’s World magazine, the Living Church of God sees the Great Commission as its highest priority: To preach the Kingdom of God and the true name of Jesus Christ to the entire world.
“Feed My sheep.” — John 21:17
God is calling individuals all over the world to become disciples of Jesus Christ and join in His Work. The Living Church of God hosts congregations all over the globe, in which members meet every week on the seventh-day Sabbath and annually on the biblical Holy Days, to fellowship together and to learn from local ministry.
“O God, You have taught me from my youth...” — Psalm 71:17
We have a special focus on our youth, sponsoring summer camps in multiple nations for teenagers and pre-teens. Educational programs focus on helping them be prepared for a world that is increasingly hostile to biblical values, and the friendships they build help them to know they are not alone.
