Dear Brethren and Co-Workers with Christ,

Greetings from Charlotte, NC! With the recent beheading of David Cawthorne Haines, a British aid worker, it is finally becoming clear to America’s leaders that the Islamic terrorists mean business! Because of the gold and cash these rebels took from banks, and because of millions of dollars of military hardware they have seized in recent months, the so-called “Islamic State” is now regarded as the best financed, most heavily armed terrorist group we have ever faced.

Yet, despite all the “good speeches,” we are doing very little to actually destroy this bestial organization. Hundreds of its members have British, Canadian or U.S. passports. Some of them may show up somewhere near where you live! In spite of his faults, President Nixon was prescient in his comments about the “silent majority” here in America. For it is true that it takes a lot to genuinely stir the average American, Canadian or British citizen. What will it take to wake us up?

We Americans and our British-descended brethren are in terminal trouble. The “pride of our power” has truly been broken (Leviticus 26:19). Scores of articles even in our mainstream newspapers and magazines regularly point out that—even though we still have the most powerful military force in the world—America is increasingly regarded as a “paper tiger.” So Vladimir Putin of Russia, the rulers of China and the powerful terrorists of the Middle East all “have our number.”

Your Bible clearly describes a coming “King of the South” who will unite many of the Arab nations to the extent that they will directly challenge the soon-coming Beast Power of Europe (Daniel 11:40-45). This will clearly happen at the prophesied “time of the end” (v. 40). We are almost there, now!

Although this “ISIS” terrorist organization may not end up being the final King of the South, it is certainly helping set the stage. And it will, no doubt, provoke the leaders of the major Arab nations to totally unite. All of this will certainly stir to action the nations of Europe to realize their great need to “truly unite.” So, as Almighty God clearly prophesied, ten coming kings or leaders in Europe will be of “one mind,” and they will “give” their power and authority to the Beast. “These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful” (Revelation 17:13-14). Even now, most of the nations of Europe regard Germany as the leading nation. Germany’s finances are better, and its army is better equipped and organized. And Europe is increasingly looking to Germany to “take the lead” and do something.

So the stage is being set. The final collapse of the British-descended and American peoples is on hand—unless we truly repent and turn to the real God in a way we have never done in modern times! Yet, God will never “forget” His people. He will always have true servants to warn His people about any major catastrophe just ahead. As His servant Amos was inspired to tell us: “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” (Amos 3:7-8).

We who are privileged to understand cannot help but prophesy! For we are the ones Almighty God has “called” and He expects us to powerfully warn His people before it is too late. Those of you reading this letter have voluntarily chosen to be “co-workers with Christ” to help us proclaim God’s final warning message to His people before the darkness falls. My friends and brethren, we are God’s “watchman” at the end of this age. Each of us should take personally the warning to His end-time servants: “‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me” (Ezekiel 33:6-7). May God help every one of us to give of ourselves—our prayers, our personal encouragement to others and our tithes and offerings to further the Work of the living God. He—the great God and Creator—will richly reward all of us enormously if we wholeheartedly get involved as members of His Team—by being an active and zealous part of His Work. Most of you know that this very Work is now proclaiming the true message of Jesus Christ and the end-time prophecies more than any other similar organization. In spite of all the suffering and chaos we see around us, in the end, we win!

This will probably be my last letter until the semi-annual letter we will send to about a half a million subscribers in mid-November. Thousands of us will be keeping God’s Feast of Tabernacles in just over three weeks from now. So many of us will be traveling to various Feast sites to keep this inspiring and encouraging religious festival which the entire world will soon join us in observing. For God’s inspired Word tells us that Jesus Christ is coming back to this earth as King over all the earth (Zechariah 14:9). At that time, this inspired prophecy continues: “And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles” (v. 16).

Therefore, my friends, all of the former Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox and other professing Christians will soon keep the Feast because they will come to understand that God means what He says! They will finally grasp—when they are called—that all people are expected to obey their Creator. They will understand the real meaning of Jesus’ statement: “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). They will genuinely understand—probably for the first time—that true Christianity goes far beyond just “believing” on Christ. It involves a genuine surrender to live by every word of God. It involves surrendering our lives for Christ to actually “live His life” within us through the Holy Spirit (Galatians 2:20).

Let us all pray fervently for one another that each of us will truly act on the “light” as God gives us to see that light. And let us pray fervently that everyone who understands may become fully involved in assisting in every way possible the very Work of Christ at the end of this age. Our challenge is exciting. Our ultimate reward is awesome. Until we meet again, may God guide and inspire each one of us to walk with Him with all our hearts.

With Christian love,

Roderick C. Meredith
