Dear Brethren and Co-Workers with Christ,
Greetings from Charlotte, NC! As many of you know, thousands of us just observed Christ’s Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. These are part of the annual Festivals picturing the Plan of God. Jesus kept them (Luke 2:40-43). The original Church of God under the apostles kept them (Acts 20:6). And they definitely will be observed throughout the entire world in Tomorrow’s World under the direct rule of Jesus Christ! The seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles—another part of God’s annual Holy Days—will be observed by “all the nations” of the entire world (Zechariah 14:19).
Yet, as you know, the vast majority of all humanity does not even know about these days. For your own Bible clearly states that Satan the Devil has deceived “the whole world” (Revelation 12:9). And millions of human beings in the Western world are turning away from all religion because they have been disillusioned by the emptiness of what the “mainstream” churches are teaching. Why is this? It is because, increasingly, God is “not real” to most people in our modern society. Religion is seen as “passé” and increasingly irrelevant.
But that will soon change!
Hundreds of millions of people in the Muslim world are already being stirred up to action by the power of religion! Even as I write, the United States’ government is being forced to intervene more and more in the religious wars of the Middle East. Western politicians do not want to call them “religious wars,” but they are nevertheless exactly that. For these people are fighting each other in the various religious sects of Islam—and they have been at it for hundreds of years.
The current conflict in Yemen has already begun to draw in the nations of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran. This could easily lead into an “explosion” affecting the production of about 550 billion barrels of oil—nearly four-tenths of the world’s oil reserves! All because of “religion.” For this conflict has roots that go back to the death of Muhammad in 632. That was when a major conflict arose in the Muslim world over who would be the “Caliph”—the Supreme Leader of the Muslim world. That is when the two major religious sects of the Muslim world split into separate groups—Sunni and Shiite—and they have been fighting ever since. That is when the war now raging in Yemen actually began. Potentially, this war and several other religious conflicts in the Middle East could erupt into a world war affecting over one billion people in the Muslim world!
But “religion is of no consequence”?
Most of you Tomorrow’s World subscribers know that your own Bible directly indicates a soon-coming “revival” of the Holy Roman Empire in Europe. This will have dramatic religious overtones. For millions of people all over the world will soon be stirred to virtually worship the “false prophet” of the book of Revelation. This man will have so much demonic power that he will actually bring fire down from heaven in front of millions (Revelation 13:13)! Influenced by this man, millions of his followers will actually fight Jesus Christ at His Second Coming (Revelation 17:14).
As the coming “King of the South” (Daniel 11:40) “provokes” or attacks the coming “King of the North”—the leader of the revived Holy Roman Empire—this war will eventually lead to the final conflagration settled by God’s direct intervention at a place called “Armageddon.” Even now, the leaders of the European nations are being forced to rethink their positions of neutrality and lack of armament. They are beginning to get together a genuine European army for the first time since World War II. They are beginning to realize that the threat of Islam is real and is going to affect all their nations before long. So they are getting ready for war—if need be. All of this, plus the increasing power and encroachment of the ISIS warriors in nation after nation in the Middle East is preparing the way for the final battle which I just described. And this will involve “religion!” So I pray that all of you dear brethren and co-workers can begin to take seriously what is happening before your very eyes! These major powers are definitely coming together within the next several years. These prophecies which I have been personally preaching for over 62 years are certainly beginning to happen right now. May God open your eyes to see where He is working. May God open your heart to be willing to “get involved” in the Work Jesus Christ is doing through human beings to prepare the way for His Second Coming.
This Work of the Living Church of God is growing in power. We are going on many more television stations, and using many more Internet platforms to increase the impact of our Internet outreach. We are having evangelistic meetings across the entire United States and many other nations. We are going “all out” as best we can to reach this world with God’s Truth.
Most of you know that. But we certainly need your help and your financial backing. So I ask you, in Jesus’ name, to open your hearts and give generously at this time. We are at a point where a “summer low” is approaching for our income. By adding to our TV and Internet outreach, conducting these campaigns and other things that we are doing, we need your help to keep up the pace. And we need to do even more, as many of you realize, to genuinely have an impact on this very confused world. When Christ returns, He will ask each one of us: “How much did you help in getting out My message when you had the opportunity?” So as you see these exciting events beginning to come together in front of your very eyes, I pray that thousands of you will be stirred to take action more than ever before! We have the honor to be on the “team” which Christ is using to finish His Work at this time. At almost age 85, I am sincerely driving myself to work regularly and to do all I can as long as God gives me life and breath. I hope you will join me in that way, “laying up treasure” for yourself in heaven. In that way, you will have a great reward when Christ returns as King of kings.
